We got lucky with the weather
Phew - the weather gods were smiling on Verwood today and the weather held out for the Carnival procession and the stall in the afternoon. It wasn’t until late-afternoon that the rain came in. Thanks to all the VPS volunteers who took part in the procession around town and for manning the stall at the fair. Good job everyone!

Verwood Carnival 2014
Put the 28th of June in your diaries - it’s Verwood Carnival time! As always we’ll be making an appearance with members dressing up and making lots of noise. The procession route has returned to the long version and we’d love to see you out there making lots of noise right back at us! Our usual stall will be on the field so why not pop by and try and win yourself a bottle of bubbly.

Our next show is…. drum roll please… Aladdin! Yes, we’ll be whisking you off to China in January where you’ll meet an eclectic mix of charming, funny and of course villainous characters. We can’t wait! The script by Tony Bradford & Tina Webster is hilarious and it’ll be directed by Maeve O’Driscoll and assisted by Diane Bromilow. Read-through and audition dates will be announced in due course so watch this space!
